Writing Standards-Based IEP Writing Goals, Objectives, Rubrics and Plans for Instruction
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course includes an interactive Nearpod presentation and a discussion board assignment. Thoughtful, professional responses in the activities which make it evident you viewed the presentation and reflected upon it are expected. To complete the course, in place of a quiz you will write a writing goal and objective which will be "graded" based on using a CDE standard and evidence outcome to generate them. At the end of the course, you are asked to complete the required course survey.
The presentation topics in this course are:
- Using Colorado Academic Standards and Grade Level Expectations (GLE) to write standards-based IEP writing goals.
- Using Evidence Outcomes, or Extended Evidence Outcomes, to write IEP objectives.
- Generating classroom scoring rubrics and lesson plans based on IEP objectives.
